Information You Provide

When you use a contact or quote-request form, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and details about the insurance help you are looking for.

Auto Quote Choices and the Detailed Questionnaire

For auto insurance, you can send a quick request using our general quote form or choose our existing detailed Auto Insurance Quote Request questionnaire. The detailed questionnaire is optional. You do not have to complete it before submitting a quick request, and the optional link on the thank-you page does not change or cancel the request you already sent.

The detailed questionnaire is provided by Cognito Forms and can request driver, vehicle, coverage and other information needed to review your auto insurance needs. Information entered there is submitted directly to Cognito Forms, rather than through this website’s general contact or quick quote form and its email-delivery function. Lion Insurance Group uses that information to review your request and follow up. You can review Cognito Forms’ Privacy Policy for information about its processing practices.

How We Use It

Lion Insurance Group uses the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, discuss insurance or employee-benefit needs, schedule conversations, and provide requested service or follow-up.

General Form Processing and Email Delivery

General contact and quick quote requests are processed through a Netlify Function and sent to Lion Insurance Group using Resend, our email-delivery provider. These services and our email inbox process the information you submit so that we can receive and respond to your request. Driver and vehicle details requested by the detailed auto questionnaire should be provided through Cognito Forms, not through the short request form.

Website, Scheduling and Live Chat Services

This website may use service providers for hosting, form processing, appointment scheduling and live chat. Information you submit may be processed by those providers as needed to operate those services.

Live Chat

Lion Insurance Group uses Tawk.to to provide the website chat feature. When you use chat, the messages and contact information you choose to provide may be processed by Tawk.to so the chat can be delivered and followed up on. The chat service may also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser, device, network or cookie information.

Website Analytics

Lion Insurance Group uses Amplitude to understand general website usage and whether visitors take actions such as requesting a quote, scheduling a call, calling, emailing, opening WhatsApp or choosing the optional detailed auto questionnaire. We do not intentionally send form-field contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, medical information or other sensitive information to Amplitude. Clicks on the detailed auto quote option are measured using the page and a fixed label indicating whether the link was on the quote page or the thank-you page. The click event does not include the information you enter in either form. Form-field autocapture, session replay and network capture are not enabled in this website’s Amplitude integration. Amplitude may process technical information such as page URLs, browser or device information, referral information and identifiers used to measure visits and sessions.

No Sale of Personal Information

Lion Insurance Group does not sell personal information submitted through this website.

Please Do Not Submit Sensitive Information

General contact forms, quick quote requests and live chat are intended for initial inquiries only. Do not send Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, payment-card information, medical records, passwords or other highly sensitive information through these channels. Use the existing Cognito Forms questionnaire for the insurance details it requests. If other sensitive information is needed, Lion Insurance Group will arrange an appropriate way to provide it.
